Frequently Asked Questions

You can send in cash with your student(s), or you can pre-pay.

Pre-pay Instructions:

1. Go to www.ppcsf.org and click on the green t-shirt icon located on the homepage.
2. Review SOS Dress Down and the Prepay Dress Down option you want to purchase.
3. Enter the name of your child, child’s campus and homeroom teacher in the text box fields. Please make sure you pay per student.
4. Log into PayPal to pay or pay as a guest. Enter your payment information and proceed to checkout.

Your order confirmation will be sent to your child's school and homeroom teacher prior to the first SOS Dress Down Day. For more detailed instructions, please see attached flyer. 

You will receive a letter requesting payment.

Before School Hours: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM Students should report to the library. 

Regular School Hours: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

After School Hours: 2:00 - 6:00 PM (There is a fee for this services.  Please register)

Students are to complete 45 minutes in both reading and math each week.  The week begins on Monday morning and ends on Sunday at midnight.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM.  The office closes daily at 2:30 PM, and will reopen at 3:30 PM.

*  Indicates a paid service, there is a fee so please register.

Students drop off is at 8:15 AM.  Any student dropped off prior must be registered in before care.

The last day of school for the 2019-2020 school year is June 2, 2020.

Our media center is open  for assistance from 8:45 am - 3:30 pm.  

Library books can be returned in the media center during regular hours.  Books can also be returned in the book drop on the second floor, to the left of the elevator.

Ms. Leger is the media specialist and Ms. Shelley is the clerk.

Yes, we always welcome parent volunteers in the media center.  Contact Ms. Shelley to set up a time to come in.  

Volunteers can put back books, straighten bookshelves and any other additional tasks needed.

Office hours are from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Friday. 

We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Before care begins at 6:45 am and ends at 8:15 am. Breakfast is served at 8 am.

Aftercare begins at 3:00 pm and ends promptly at 6:00 pm. 

Please pick up your child on time or you will be charged an addition $100 per minute.

Making sure a student has a note will ensure an excused absence.  Otherwise, an absence will be unexcused.

Those who qualify for the Free or Reduced Price Meals Program may be eligible for a waiver for all or half of the fee. In order to be eligible for the waiver of activity fees, the application for Free and Reduced lunch must be received within 30 school days (on or before Wednesday, September 25, 2019 of the start of each school year. If a student is admitted after the first day of school, their application must be received within 30 days of admission. If you qualify for the activity fee waiver but do not meet the 30 day application deadline, the activity fee will be due in full. You can apply for Free and Reduced Lunch on our school website www.pinescharter.net.  Once a student is approved for free or reduced lunch, an adjustment will be made to the activity fee.  Those who qualify for free lunch will not need to pay the fee.  Those who qualify for reduced price meals will need to pay $150.00 per student (four payments of $37.50 each may be paid following the payment plan dates listed above.)  If the fees have already been paid, a refund will be processed. Students who participate in this program will be audited.

No student who has outstanding activity fee balances will be allowed to participate in any extra-curricular activity that is funded through the collection of these fees.

The high school is open form 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, class hours are from 7:15 to 2:00 pm.

Open enrollment usually opens the second week in January.

Your child should be 5 years old before September 1, of the current school year.

The library is available throughout the day with teachers permission, before, during lunch and after school.

There is a 10 cent per day that begins on a regular school day after an item has been checked out for 10 days.

Yes. The cost is $2 and you are welcome to write up to 25 words
